Sam Ross is a bartender and bar owner. He’s worked in or helped to open bars across the US, but is perhaps best known for his time at Milk and Honey(now Attaboy) in New York City. He’s also credited with the creation of a few modern classic cocktails, including the Paper Plane.
In its first iteration the drink included Campari, but Ross replaced it with Aperol to create the drink that has gained popularity around the world.
