Hugo Spritz
It’s officially feeling like spring time here in Denver, so any spritz feels extremely appropriate right now. The Hugo Spritz (pronounced ‘Ugo’) comes from Northern Italy. Originally it was made with a lemon balm syrup, but that was pretty quickly replaced with the more commonly available St. Germain. Roland Gruber is credited with the drink’s creation, and it’s a refreshing way to enjoy the springtime sunshine.
